We had a great experience, quiet at 11 am but bustling with people closer to noon ... seems like a local spot and I could hear the chatter of the barista and the customers about their favorites or their usual... Nice place overall, we’d come back for sure on a regular basis if we were local... barista was kind and patient ... took time to explain custom drinks and names they had created as well as being patient with my ten yr olds who are often indecisive... We had an apple muffin /hot chocolate and a chai latte with oat milk... as well as a Cuban espresso ... loved them all
We were visiting from out of town and loved this coffee shop. The coffee is great, and they have plenty of flavors to choose from. I also share a cinnamon muffin with a bit of cream in the middle, and it was warmed up a bit. It was so good. The store has music playing in the background and all kinds of interesting things to look at. We definitely recommend stopping by.
This is a cozy cafe with lots of options. The service was great and the sausage egg and cheese bagel was amazing. I had the latte with brown cinnamon sugar and it has perfect too. The coffee was a little toasted so it had a nice after taste too. Perfect place to stop before your hike!
This was the most delicious latte I’ve had in a long time!! It was made with strong espresso, a strawberry syrup, and a strawberry cold foam. The staff was super nice too and customized my drink to be a little less sweet.
Best small town coffee shop I think I've ever been to! I loved the decor, the seating, and of course the service! The coffee was great, there were allllll the options you could ask for with dairy free milks and tons of syrup flavors. I will be going here again when I find myself back in Banner Elk!
The best ever!! They have a rotating drink menu that offers a variety of seasonal flavors and drinks that’ll appeal to everyone, and they’re super creative. They also just recently added breakfast sandwiches and more food items which are extremely affordable and delicious. Honestly, the best breakfast in town.
This is by far the best coffee house I've been to. The staff is super friendly, the coffee is stellar and just overall vibe is a check. They offer a huge, and I mean HUGE variety of flavorings too and the widest selection of sugar free flavors I have EVER seen. Starbucks, any local place, any widely known place, cannot even come close. They also have a few relaxation teas also. One of the owners also was present both times we visited and he is an extremely kind hearted gentleman. I wish this shop was closer to home and we weren't just on vacation because I would come here daily.
Swing by Fred & Larry’s while on a work trip in Beech Mountain, NC it was great! This shop has a wonderful vibe and great staff helped me out. I tried a delicious Iced Chai Latte and would definitely recommend you try this place out if your around the Banner Elk/ Sugar/ Beech Mountain area. They had tasty looking fresh baked goods that I would like to try if I’m ever in the area again!
